1. No cooling water or boiling water to start the diesel engine and then add cooling water, which will cause the hot cylinder liner, cylinder head and other important parts to burst or deform due to sudden cold; add 100 °C boiling water to the cold body. It will also rupture the cylinder head and the body, and should be added when the water temperature drops to 60-70 °C.
2. If the oil is not supplied according to the regulations, the diesel engine should not be put into the "working" position at the time of starting, and then the oil should be supplied, and the throttle handle should be placed at the oil supply position before starting. The harm that does not operate according to this regulation is: waste of fuel; excess diesel will wash the cylinder wall, so that the lubrication between the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner will deteriorate and the wear will be intensified; the residual oil flowing into the oil sump will dilute the oil and reduce the lubrication effect; Excessive diesel combustion in the cylinder does not completely form carbon deposits. Lubricating oil and fuel are not replaced on schedule. In the cold weather season, if the lubricating oil and fuel with low viscosity are not changed in time, the diesel engine will be difficult to start.
3. Pulling the car to start, the diesel engine will start when the cold car oil is thick, and it will aggravate the wear between the moving parts, thus reducing the service life of the locomotive.
4. The heating element of the glow plug, the flame preheater and the flame preheater for a long time are all electric heating wires, which have large power consumption and heat generation. The long-term use can damage the battery due to rapid discharge. It can also burn the heating wire. Therefore, the time that the glow plug can be used continuously for no more than one minute, the time for each continuous use of the flame preheater should be controlled within 20 seconds.
5. Adding the oil directly to the cylinder, although it can play the role of sealing booster and warming, it is convenient for the diesel engine to start, but the oil can not be completely burned, it is easy to produce carbon deposit, the elasticity of the piston ring is weakened, and the sealing performance of the cylinder is degraded; In addition, it will accelerate the wear of the cylinder liner, causing the diesel engine's power to drop, making the start-up more difficult, so it is not possible to directly add the oil to the cylinder.
6. Directly pumping gasoline into the intake pipe. The burning point of gasoline is lower than that of diesel, and it burns first than diesel. Therefore, directly pouring gasoline into the intake pipe will cause the engine to work rough and produce a strong knocking phenomenon. In severe cases, engine reversal may occur.
Continuous start for a long time The engine on the diesel engine works under low voltage and high current. It will damage the battery when used for a long time. The continuous operation time must not exceed 5 seconds; once it can not be started, it should be started after 15 seconds.
7. High-speed operation just after starting. When the diesel engine is started, the temperature of the lubricating oil is low, the fluidity is poor, and the high-speed operation is immediately performed. It is easy to cause the various moving parts to wear rapidly due to lack of lubrication. In severe cases, the shaft will be burned.
