2. When one of the following conditions occurs, the charging time is allowed to be extended appropriately:
The battery storage time is more than 3 months, and the charging time can be 8 hours.
The ambient temperature continues to exceed 30 ° C (86 ° F) or the relative humidity continues to be higher than 80%, the charging time is 8 hours, if the battery storage time is more than 1 year, the charging time can be 12 hours, at the end of the charging line, the electrolysis should be checked Whether the liquid level is sufficient, if necessary, add a standard electrolyte with the correct specific gravity (1:1.28).
Third, the battery is dry when it is delivered to the user at random. Therefore, before use, the electrolyte with the correct specific gravity (1:1.28) should be added. Unscrew the top cover of the battery and slowly inject the electrolyte until it is between the two scale lines on the upper part of the metal sheet and as close as possible to the upper scale line. After adding it, please do not use it immediately. Please leave the battery for about 15 minutes.
4. When charging the battery, first open the battery filter cap or vent cover, and check the electrolyte water level. If necessary, adjust with distilled water. In addition, in order to prevent long-term closure, the sewage in the battery compartment cannot be discharged in time and the water droplets are prevented from condensing on the inner wall of the inner side of the cell. It is necessary to open a special vent hole to facilitate proper circulation of air.
5. For safety reasons, wear an acid-proof apron and a mask or goggles when servicing the battery. If the electrolyte is accidentally splashed on the skin or clothing, rinse it with plenty of water immediately.
